Our procedures for creating detailed drawings mean that nothing is left to chance. We explain all the important details, and highlight important aspects of the design.
Detailed drawings are created for several reasons:
- To help explain detailed design information that can otherwise be overlooked.
- To lock down the design.
- To get consistency in the manufacturing process.
- To create an accurate Bill Of Materials (BOM).
- To obtain competitive quotes (outsourcing).
Not everyone can read engineering drawings.
Many people who have to look at engineering drawings aren’t engineers, and seeing the product in 3D really helps to understand the drawing.
This is why we add a rotatable 3D drawing along with the 2D drawing - in PDF format!
